As part of the EPA Group, we are proud to partner with the West Ham United Foundation.
Our mission is to develop pathways for sports scholarships, elite performance and training programmes throughout South-East Asia. This partnership will lead to the region’s most talented players following a developmental path from the EPA/West Ham United Foundation programme either as a pathway into higher education through sports, applying for scholarships, a career in sport, or if talented enough all the way; to the first team!
A Long-Term Partnership
Our long-term partnership with the West Ham United Foundation allows us to provide high-quality training, coach education and worthwhile competitions that will maximise students’ opportunities to grow and develop their sporting CVs.
The West Ham United Foundation will deliver bespoke football-based projects for SEAL and EPA. In addition, the service will promote Coach Education and further develop our pathways to higher education and professional sport through innovative and progressive football programmes.

The West Ham Foundation in Asia
The programmes in Asia will aim to provide regular opportunities for participants to train with the West Ham United Foundation coaches. In addition, the partnership offers the chance for players based in South East Asia to visit London to attend the Foundation’s projects and play regular fixtures against West Ham United Foundation’s teams.
The South-East Asian Lionesses are a sister club of the West Ham United Foundation and provide a pathway into education and professional sport to Women in Thailand.
Talent Identification
We will provide regular opportunities for participants to train with the West Ham United Foundation coaches. The initiative’s ultimate goal is to develop the students both on and off the field using the ‘West Ham Way’ philosophy and promoting the history and traditions of West Ham United in South East Asia. One of the most exciting elements of the partnership is creating a pathway for players to be monitored by the Foundation coaches, increasing the possibility of an EPA/West Ham United Foundation participant progressing into the professional game.

The West Ham United Foundation provides top-class FA qualified coaches alongside EPA’s outstanding coaching and education schemes, creating a first of its kind, unrivalled programme in the region.
West Ham United are a club steeped in history and tradition. The Academy of Football has produced players such as World Cup-winning captain Bobby Moore, Sir Geoff Hurst, Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, Joe Cole, Mark Noble and Declan Rice, who have all come through the Hammers’ ranks. The east London club provides an inspirational setting to grow and thrive in whilst continuing their search for the next young stars of the future.
